Position: Dance Instructor Trainer
Department: Entertainment and Performing Arts
Reports to: Dance Program Director

Job Summary:
The Dance Instructor Trainer is responsible for providing comprehensive training and support to dance instructors within our organization. This role focuses on developing and enhancing the skills of dance instructors to ensure the delivery of high-quality dance training programs to our students. The Dance Instructor Trainer will work closely with the Dance Program Director to design and implement effective training programs, evaluate instructor performance, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement training programs:
- Design and deliver training sessions to enhance dance instructors' technical skills, teaching techniques, and performance abilities.
- Create training materials, including lesson plans, instructional guides, and multimedia resources, to support instructor development.
- Collaborate with the Dance Program Director to identify training needs and define learning objectives.

2. Evaluate instructor performance:
- Observe and evaluate dance instructors during classes and rehearsals to assess teaching effectiveness, technical proficiency, and adherence to program guidelines.
- Provide constructive feedback to instructors on areas requiring improvement and acknowledge their strengths.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations to assess instructor progress and development.

3. Mentor and coach dance instructors:
- Offer personalized guidance and support to dance instructors, addressing their individual needs and challenges.
- Foster a positive and motivating learning environment, inspiring instructors to continuously improve their teaching skills and knowledge.
- Provide ongoing mentorship to instructors, including assistance with lesson planning, choreography, and class management.

4. Collaborate with the Dance Program Director:

Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Dance or a related field.

- Extensive knowledge of various dance styles, including ballet, jazz, contemporary, hip-hop, and others.
- Strong understanding of dance techniques, choreography, and dance theory.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to provide constructive feedback and support to instructors.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team and adapt to changing priorities.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong time management skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire instructors to achieve their full potential.
